Selfie of the Day

Earlier this week, ‘selfie’ was named the Oxford Dictionary’s word of the year. Researchers say use of the word has increased by 17,000 per cent over the last year.

The Ignite News Selfie of the Day is a contest of sorts. Students who share their selfies with us on social media with the hashtag #igniteselfie will have the chance for their selfie to be re-shared by us, published on our website, and possibly printed in our weekly magazine that is distributed across campus.
